With over 10 years of experience in the mortgage, and marketing industry, Jennifer has seamlessly transitioned into the title insurance sector at Abstract and Title. Jennifer began her career managing the marketing needs for a single loan officer at the local level and quickly advanced to oversee the marketing efforts for over 30 loan officers at the corporate level. This progression allowed her to develop a robust expertise in client relations, process improvement, digital design and social media, which she now brings to her role at Abstract and Title.
As a Sales & Marketing Assistant, Jennifer works closely with our sales teams to create innovative and engaging marketing materials that enhance our team’s presence and effectiveness. Her background in crafting dynamic content and fostering strong client relationships is a valuable asset to our team.
Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys kayaking, playing cornhole, and spending time with her loved ones and pets. She appreciates the family-like atmosphere at Abstract and Title, which mirrors her own values and contributes to her commitment and enthusiasm for her role.
Joy Henley first joined the Abstract & Title team in 2019 as a summer intern, where she quickly became a valuable asset during her two summers with the company. After spending some time in Washington for college, Joy rejoined our team in 2024 and was promoted to Closing Coordinator. Her enthusiasm for learning and acquiring new skills, no matter the challenge, makes her an excellent fit for the title and escrow industry, where she continues to grow and excel.
Currently pursuing a degree in International Public Health with a minor in Sociology through Arizona State University’s online program, Joy brings a unique perspective to her work, blending her academic interests with her professional endeavors.
Originally from the Hendricks County area, Joy has traveled extensively across the United States. Though she spent some time in the Pacific Northwest, her heart remains in the Midwest, where she feels most at home. Despite missing the mountains, Joy finds solace in nature, often exploring the local parks and hiking trails.
In her personal life, Joy enjoys cooking and cherishing time with her partner, Jacob, and their energetic pittie, Luna. Her love for the outdoors and her family keeps her grounded and inspired, both in her work and in her daily life.
Amanda Patton joined the Abstract & Title team in June 2023, bringing her warm and welcoming personality to the Parke County office as the Receptionist. In May 2024, she seamlessly transitioned into her current roles as Closing Coordinator, where she has been instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for clients.
A proud native of Parke County, Amanda is thrilled to be contributing to the community she calls home after spending several years away. Her deep-rooted connection to the area fuels her passion for providing exceptional service to local residents and businesses alike.
Outside of work, Amanda’s life revolves around her close-knit family. She enjoys traveling and creating cherished memories with her husband, Bruce, and their three children—Alexandra, Damon, and Brady. The Patton household is a hub of activity, particularly when it comes to sports. Whether they are cheering on their children from the sidelines or supporting Bruce in his coaching endeavors, Amanda and her family are dedicated fans who bring the same enthusiasm to their community involvement as Amanda does to her professional life.
Jennifer joined the Abstract & Title Team in June of 2022 and has served in both our Avon and Plainfield offices. Jennifer brings as much skill to our team as she does joy, with a history of running a licensed daycare when her children were little and adding volunteer EMT/firefighter and sales experience as they grew.
Jennifer lives in Hendricks County with her husband Mike, sons Andrew and Hayden both currently attending IUPUI, and 5 cats. They are a sports-loving family, especially anything IU. Jennifer loves music, reading, traveling and board games.

Krissy joined the Abstract & Title team as the Greencastle closing coordinator in June 2024, bringing her years of experience in customer service. She and her husband, John, moved from Lizton to Greencastle in 2021.
Krissy enjoys Jeep life, Lake life, boating, campfires and fishing. She spends most of her free time on her back porch enjoying the lake view or on the boat with her husband, 3 kids and new puppy.
Andrea Leahy joined the Abstract & Title team in February 2021 as the Receptionist at our home office in Danville and transitioned to the Closing Coordinator position in May 2024. Before joining our team, Andrea was a stay-at-home mom to her two (now grown) boys.
Andrea was born in Danville and graduated from Avon High School. She moved to Michigan shortly after meeting her husband of 25 years, J.C. They returned to Indiana in 2014 and currently reside in Avon.
In her free time, Andrea loves to spend every minute possible with her husband on their boat. She also enjoys road trips, reading, and hanging out with her two Boston Terriers.
Brook is the Closer of Abstract & Title of our Putnam County, Greencastle office. A Greencastle native, Brook joined the Abstract team in May 2020, bringing experience from real estate law, as well as established relationships in our community.
After graduating from Purdue in 2011, Brook returned home to Putnam County. Brook, her husband, and their kiddos enjoy spending time with family, playing sports of all kinds, and enjoying the great outdoors whenever possible.

Tracy Oprisu joined the Abstract & Title team in 1996 as Closing Assistant. From 1996-2018, Tracy worked in the former Marion County office, the Avon office, and the Brownsburg office. In 2018, Tracy became Managing Closer of the Brownsburg office, closing residential transactions and loans. Tracy now serves on our Processing team supporting all of our closing teams.

Zachary came to Abstract & Title in January 2020 beginning as a Title Tech in our Avon Office. Transferring to our home office in October of 2020, Zachary served on our Title Clearing Team for 2 years before joining our Brownsburg Closing Team where he now serves as Closing Coordinator.
A Hendricks County native, Zachary graduated from Brownsburg High School and still resides in Brownsburg. He enjoys spending time with family, and his two cats Caboose & Belle, and can be found almost every weekend playing Dungeons & Dragons or Magic the Gathering with friends. When he’s not gaming, Zachary enjoys creative writing and painting.

Kendra began her title industry career with Abstract & Title in 2018 serving as Title Tech in our Avon office before joining the sales & marketing team as Sales Ambassador in January 2020.
Raised in Hendricks County, Kendra enjoys supporting local charities, including Sheltering Wings, several animal shelters and rescues, in addition to serving in her church.
Kendra lives in her childhood home with her husband and daughter. When they aren’t rooting for the Colts or the Cubs, they enjoy traveling, concerts, family game nights and chasing any variety of adventure that catches Kendra’s attention at the moment.

Kim Theiss began her career in the real estate industry in 1989. She quickly settled into the title industry and in 1998, rose to Account Executive, servicing the Indianapolis market and surrounding counties.
Joining the Abstract & Title Team, Kim has been a Sales Executed since 2000. Kim is a member of MIBOR and serves on several boards within our Counties, receiving numerous awards from her peers over the years. Kim is a lifelong resident of Indiana, currently residing in Martinsville with her husband Ron. Their favorite pastime is traveling to visit their son in MO and any chance they can to hit the trails with their pups Winnie and Ace.

Lisa Furlong has been with Abstract & Title since 2015 and in the title industry since 1988. Having been born and raised in Iowa, she joined the Air Force after high school. Following her service in the Air Force, Lisa moved to Danville in 1988 and began her title industry career. Working through every aspect of the title business, Lisa currently serves as Closer of our Plainfield office, closing residential and commercial transactions and loans.
Lisa is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Danville and has served as president, secretary, and treasurer, as well as on various committees. Lisa enjoys the outdoors, shopping, reading and spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Tucker.

LuAnn Rickert joined the Abstract & Title team in September 2021 and currently serves as the Closing Coordinator in our Avon location. LuAnn adds great depth to our team, bringing experience and knowledge of serving on the real estate side of the industry for 15 years.
A Hendricks County resident her whole life and graduate of Plainfield High School, LuAnn has and continues to be immersed in our community. She continues to be active in her local church.

Kandace joined the Abstract & Title team in December 2022. She instantly felt at home and was a familiar face to our customers after serving as a contract closer for 4 years prior. Kandace’s knowledge and teamwork mentality made for an easy transition when permanently joining our Danville Closing Team where she currently serves as residential closer.
A Hendricks County native since she was 8 years old, Kandace raised her son and daughter in our community as well. She now has 2 grandchildren she loves to spoil.

Taylor began her title industry career with Abstract & Title in 2021 as an Order Entry Specialist, becoming Order Entry Lead in 2022. A Danville native, Taylor enjoys attending local charity events and volunteering with local food pantries.
In 2020, Taylor married her high school sweetheart, and they currently live in Danville. Taylor’s hobbies include gardening, frisbee golf, crafting with her Cricut and hiking/camping with her husband and friends.

Olivia joined the Abstract & Title team in February of 2022 as Assistant Closer for our Brownsburg office. Her exuberant personality and enthusiasm for learning were invaluable from the start, prompting her transition to Closer for our Brownsburg Team in 2023.
Bringing a history of people-centric passions with her, Olivia remains very active in Emmanuel Church as a Holy Yoga small group leader and Impact Team Member – working to serve the Johnson County Community to end the cycle of homelessness. Her heart for community extends to her love of shopping, and Olivia is always looking for local small businesses and entrepreneurs to support.
The middle child of her family, Olivia enjoys spending time with them and her cat, Stevie Nicks and dog, Otis. A modern-day Jill–of–all-Trades, Olivia spends her free time singing and leading worship at church, playing piano (including writing her own music), gardening, baking, running, fishing and being the resident skincare junkie!

Samantha began her career in the financial industry in 1995. Bringing her experience from the lending industry with her, Samantha joined Abstract & Title in 2018 and currently serves as a Sales Executive and Office Manager of our Greencastle office.
Samantha served on the Putnam County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors from January 2019 through December 2021. Samantha is currently on the Board of Directors for Thrive West Central, is a mentor through Transformers and serves as a member of the PCBOR. She and the Abstract & Title Greencastle team were awarded PCBOR Affiliate of the Year in 2019 and 2021.
Originally from Hendricks County, Samantha moved to Putnam County in 2017 to be closer to family and enjoys country living just outside the Greencastle city limits. Samantha, her husband “Coop”, their three children and two rescue dogs, Elsa and Loki, prefer being outdoors and camping whenever possible.

Beth Ford began her career in the real estate industry in 1989 working for a local Indianapolis real estate company. She received her real estate salespersons license in 1990. In 1991, Beth transitioned to the title industry, working in a closing department.
Beth has served in several positions within Abstract & Title, including closing coordinator, closer, and manager, as well as her current role as sales executive. While working full-time and raising her family, Beth received her undergraduate degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in marketing and management, graduating with high distinction in 2007. She was named IUPUI’s top marketing student, along with recognition as a Top Ten Female Student of her graduating class. Beth is a graduate of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors Academy of Leadership, as well as a graduate of Leadership Hendricks County. Beth served as a member of the Board of Directors at MIBOR in 2010 – 2013 and served as President of MIBOR’s MSC Corporation in 2013. She has served on numerous committees in the real estate industry over the years and has received many awards from her peers. In 2021, Beth completed the Hero’s Journey leadership program via the esteemed Darren Hardy. Luke graduated from IUPUI in 2020 with a degree in Political Science and History and began working at Abstract & Title later that same year. Joining our Avon Closing Team, Luke currently serves as the Assitant Closer.

Kayla joined Abstract and Title in 2020 as a member of our Order Entry Team, bringing 4 years of title experience with her ranging from order entry to title clearing and document prep. In 2021, Kayla was one of the founding members of Abstract and Title’s Fun Committee, organizing internal events such as our A&T Olympics and showering our team members with treats and motivation on special occasions. Kayla currently serves as Order Entry Specialist in our Danville home office.
A Danville graduate and current resident, Kayla enjoys attending local charity events and supporting ongoing community outreach programs, including Cloth-a-Child, Sheltering Wings, animal shelters and more.
Mom to a daughter, Kayla is close with her family and enjoys spending time with them and traveling together whenever she can. In her downtime, you can find Kayla at concerts, singing karaoke, refurbishing furniture or relaxing with friends around a bonfire.

Deanna came to Abstract & Title in 2016, bringing experience from both real estate and mortgage lending sides of the industry.
Beginning as a Closer in our Avon Office, Deanna moved to our Processing Department in the Danville home office in 2017. In 2021, Deanna joined our Commercial Team at the ground level and continues to serve as our HOA Processor, as well.
Deanna’s favorite title of all is Nana. She has 6 wonderful grandkids and a great grandchild who she spends her free time supporting in all their sports and activities. When she isn’t with her grandkids, Deanna enjoys outdoor flower gardening, golf, NASCAR and decorating.

Brenda began as receptionist for our Abstract & Title Greencastle office in 2019. Moving to the role of Title Tech later in 2019, Brenda grew in her title experience, and as of 2021, she moved into our Title Clearing Department as a Title Clearing Officer, still located in our Greencastle office.
A Putnam County Native, Brenda homeschooled her now grown twins for 12 years and was very active in 4-H. She still enjoys supporting various 4-H groups at the county and state fairs.
Currently living on her family’s farm in northwest Putnam County, Brenda’s main hobby is working the farm and caring for a horse, dog, cat, with hopefully cattle to be added soon. Brenda also enjoys knitting and gardening when she can sneak in the time.

A veteran to our team, Missy joined Abstract & Title in June 2000. She has held positions in our Avon, Plainfield, and Danville offices, ranging from receptionist to Title Tech. Currently working in our Danville Home Office, Missy serves as the head of our Title Clearing Department.
A member of the Tri Kappa sorority, Missy is active in the Hendricks County community. Happily married to her husband, Mikey for over 20 years, they have two amazing children, now grown.

Laura started her title career in 2004 with experience in Florida and New Jersey, ranging from reception to closings, prior to joining the Abstract and Title Team in 2019. Beginning as a Title Tech, Laura moved into the role of Assistant Closer in 2020 and now serves as one of our Processing team members. Laura also served on the MIBOR Highschool Scholarship Committee in 2022 and is involved locally with Crosspoint Church.
Laura currently lives in Hendricks County with her husband Jeff, two awesome bonus children, and her best friend, her dog Tristan. In her free time, Laura loves exercise, cooking, exploring local parks and small towns and binge-watching TV series and movies.

Amy Hanna-Monan began her career in the real estate industry in 1996 as a listing secretary for a local Indianapolis real estate office. After receiving her real estate license in 1999, she became a contract closer for several years while also selling real estate. Amy joined the title industry full-time in 2004 and received the Western Division MIBOR Affiliate Of The Year award in 2004. Amy joined the Abstract & Title team in 2007 as the Managing Closer of the Brownsburg Office. In 2016 Amy married Mike Monan and transferred to their current home in Illinois. Amy serves as a Processor for all offices from her home, but you still may see her on occasion at an Indianapolis Colts home game in section 128.

Elizabeth started her career in real estate law with focus on foreclosure and bankruptcy. After graduating from ISU in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, she received her Paralegal Certification from IUPUI in 2012. Elizabeth joined our team as Legal Secretary with Comer Law Office in September 2018.
In 2021, Elizabeth joined the Abstract & Title Commercial Team as a Commercial Processor.
A Plainfield native, Elizabeth resides in Plainfield with her husband, son, dog, and two cats. She volunteers with her son’s local Cub Scout troop. In her free time, she enjoys reading, movies, baking and playing board games.

Kathy joined the Commercial Team at Abstract & Title early in 2022, bringing close to a decade of title and closing experience with her.
She coached youth girls basketball for 4 years and spends her downtime working on her golf game and traveling the PGA tour with her husband.
Mom to 4 boys now grown – Jarrod, Jake, Jack, and Joe – Kathy now enjoys spending girl time with her granddaughters, and adding more grandsons as their family expands.

Tammy Fleece has worked with Abstract & Title for 15 years and has been in the title industry for 22 years, closing residential and commercial transactions and loans. She served as the Manager of the Brownsburg branch of Abstract & Title for 5 years. She is currently in the Danville office as the Director of Human Resources and is the chief commercial closer. Tammy enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her four grandchildren.

After working in the microfilm department at the Hendricks County Courthouse, Tania joined the Abstract & Title team in 2002. After working in almost every area of the company, Tania was named Abstract & Title’s General Manager in 2019. Although based in the Danville home office, Tania travels to all of the various offices. Her expertise includes closing, closing and title software, and production.
A lifelong resident of Hendricks County, Tania is a proud graduate of Leadership Hendricks County in 2020. She keeps current on industry trends and enjoys attending both Indiana Land Title Association and American Land Title Association conventions and events.
Married to her husband Ryan, they still reside in Hendricks County and enjoy camping, spending time with their daughter Julia, and all things Disney.

Andy Kult began working with Abstract & Title in 1999 and currently serves the company as Vice President of Production. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University (Bloomington) and his law degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Indiana University (Indianapolis). In addition to his role with Abstract & Title, Andy is a founding partner of Comer Law Office, LLC where he counsels clients in real estate matters and local zoning law.
Andy is a past member and President of the Danville Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners, a past member and President of the Danville Public Library Board of Trustees, and a current member and Vice Chair of the Parish Council at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville. He coaches the Junior Varsity girls’ soccer team and is an assistant coach for the Varsity girls’ soccer team at Danville Community High School. He is an active and joyful parishioner at Mary Queen of Peace. Andy and his wife, Kylie, reside in Danville and are the extremely proud parents of two daughters with whom they treasure spending time as a family…whether traveling someplace new or just hanging out together at home.

A third generation apprentice in the family business, Ben Comer grew up working at Abstract & Title. After earning his undergraduate degree from DePauw University in 1993, Ben earned his law degree from Valparaiso University in 1996 and officially began his career at Abstract & Title that same year. He has served as President of Abstract & Title since 2010.
Recipient of the Danville Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of The Year and graduate of Leadership Hendricks County, Ben brings years of service and community involvement as past president of The Downtown Danville Partnership, Committee Chairman for the Summer Sounds on the Square concert series, past Chairman of the Danville Community School Corporation Legacy Committee, Board of Advisors to Hendricks County Arts Council and President of the Danville Redevelopment Commission. He and his wife, Meg, are the proud parents of two sons…Sam (2001) and Jake (2003). Ben’s hobbies include music, reading, triathlons, barbeques, and fly-fishing.

Amy Comer Elliott joined Abstract & Title full-time in 1994, after working part-time throughout high school, college and law school. Having received an undergraduate degree from DePauw University in 1991 and a law degree from Capital University School of Law in 1994, Amy returned to her hometown as a third-generation member in the family business.
In addition to her role with Abstract & Title, Amy is also a partner with Comer Law Office, LLC and counsels clients in real estate transactions, local zoning law, estate planning, probate and trust administration. Amy has served on the Indiana State Bar Association Probate Council since 2007 and served as the Chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Indiana State Bar Association in 2013-2014. In addition to being active with the Indiana State Bar Association, Amy participates in the Government Affairs committee of the Indiana Land Title Association.
Amy is active in the Danville Rotary Club, having served as Past President. She is a past member of the Danville Community School Corporation School Board as well as the Board of Directors of the Greater Danville Chamber of Commerce. Amy currently serves on the boards of the Hendricks County Community Foundation and the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation. Laurie Kirsch joined the Abstract & Title team in 2010, bringing nearly 30 years of title industry experience closing residential and commercial transactions and loans. Prior to working in the title industry, Laurie worked for a local Indianapolis builder as a closing coordinator.
Laurie was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana and moved to Indianapolis in 1986. She currently resides in Avon and serves as Managing Closer for the Plainfield office.

Bringing years of real estate experience, Scott Deuschle joined the title industry and Abstract & Title in January 2021. Scott serves as our internal floating closer, filling in at all our offices and conducting mobile closings for our customers.
An avid sports fan, Scott resides in Danville with his wife Jackie, owner of Healthy Paws Animal Hospital, along with their crew of three sons and a daughter who keep them on their toes.
In addition to being a little league coach, Scott and his family are active in many aspects of the community, including supporting the local hospitals, Chamber of Commerce, Danville PD, Danville Schools and many local animal rescues and shelters.

Keisha Atkinson began her career in the title industry with Abstract & Title in 2007 as a part-time receptionist in the Parke County office while attending Thompson’s School of Cosmetology. She quickly found her passion working at Abstract & Title and chose to pursue a career in the title industry over cosmetology. Keisha became the Managing Closer of the Rockville office in 2012 after closing residential transactions and loans for approximately four years. Keisha is a member of the MainStreet Rockville team, a community organization dedicated to beautifying Rockville’s town square. Keisha loves iced coffee, shopping, and spending time with her husband, their 2 daughters, and their pets…a German Shepherd named Zeek and a cat named Bella.

Jenna joined Abstract & Title in February 2022 and serves as Assistant Closer in our Greencastle Office.

Neelie Gregory came to Abstract & Title in 2015, working in both processing and title clearing departments before moving into closing residential transactions and loans. In 2018, Neelie was named Managing Closer of the Avon office. Prior to working in the title industry, Neelie worked as a paralegal handling foreclosures, as well as a Sheriff’s Sale auction company.
Neelie enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her husband, 4 children and family.

Ariel joined Abstract & Title in 2019 as a member of our Closing Team and the Assistant Closer in our Danville home office.
She attended Franklin College, majoring in English with a minor in Music & Philosophy. She enjoys spending time with her mom, Melodie (Carpenter Agent), brother, Jacob (Mortician), sister, Ariana (College Student), dad, Richard (Retired Osteopathic Doc.), and her fiance, Nick (Barber).
Ariel’s free time is filled with reading fantasy novels, walking, drawing, spending quality time with family, and playing board games. Every year at GenCon, you catch Ariel performing with her acapela group, The el33ts.
